Junior Data Cabling Engineer

ODIN Recruitment has partnered with a well-established Sheffield contractor who wants to invest in the next generation of data-cabling talent. If you’re practical, eager to learn and happy with a ladder, this is your way into a trade that’s booming nationwide.

What you’ll get

• Full, paid training – work alongside senior engineers on commercial & industrial sites
• Clear progression path: trainee → junior → lead engineer
• Variety of projects (offices, warehouses, schools, hospitals) – no two days the same
• All tools, PPE and test gear supplied
• Permanent, full-time role (40 hrs+) with overtime available

What we’re looking for

• Sheffield-based (or within 30 mins) and own transport to get to depot/sites
• Willingness to learn – attitude beats experience every time
• Happy working in a team now, confident to work alone later
• Any on-site / construction background (labourer, maintenance, electrician’s mate) is helpful
• CSCS card preferred but NOT essential – we’ll put you through it if needed
