Class 1 Driver

Odin Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy logistics operation based in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected national logistics provider offering stability, competitive pay, and a strong benefits package.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK, ensuring a high standard of customer service and compliance with transport regulations. This role follows a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, so flexibility to work weekends is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles in line with driving regulations
• Ensure goods are loaded, secured, and delivered on time
• Complete all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with transport teams and customers
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly

 Requirements:

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Good driving record with no major endorsements
• Experience with Longer Semi-Trailers (LSTs) is an advantage
• A proactive attitude and strong understanding of road safety
