AV Installation Engineer

Odin Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Installation Engineer to join one of our valued clients in the Leeds area. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team delivering cutting-edge audio-visual, lighting, and access control technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install audio-visual, lighting, automation, and access control technologies (e.g., turnstiles, barriers, maglocks)
• Carry out structured cabling and network installations
• Maintain high standards of technical work and professionalism on-site
• Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics
• Complete all required administrative tasks, including job forms, timesheets, expenses, and stock records
• Support service teams where necessary
• Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring excellent customer service
• Proactively suggest innovative solutions where appropriate
• Adhere to site health and safety regulations and company quality standards

Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience in a technical installation role
• Good understanding of AV, electrical, or access control systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Technically proficient with the ability to use mobile apps for admin tasks
• Valid ECS/CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable Qualifications/Certifications:

• IPAF
• PASMA
• Avixa CTS-1
• UKATA Asbestos Awareness
• SSSTS
• Electrical or telecoms/audio engineering qualifications
