Data Cabling Engineer

We are currently recruiting experienced Data Cabling Engineers for a large-scale construction project in Manchester. This role involves the installation of a copper infrastructure rollout.

 Scope of Work:

• Installation, pulling, terminating, and testing of copper data cabling
• Pulling of fibre optic cabling (termination may be handled separately)
• Working in a busy construction site environment
• Ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to site safety standards

 Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in structured cabling installation
• Valid ECS or CSCS card
• IPAF certified
• Ability to read and follow site plans and cable schematics
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Must be able to provide 2 recent references from relevant structured cabling work

Working Hours & Duration:

• Monday to Friday – up to 50 hours per week
• Overtime may be available depending on project demands
