The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple Structured Cabling projects across Central London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager with a strong background in copper and fibre structured cabling installations who is comfortable managing engineers, coordinating workloads, liaising with clients and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day site operations whilst acting as the main point of contact between engineers, project stakeholders and end clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage structured cabling installation projects across multiple Central London sites.
- Coordinate teams of cabling engineers carrying out copper and fibre installations.
- Plan and allocate workloads to maximise site productivity and programme delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure work is completed to specification and quality standards.
- Liaise directly with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
- Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Monitor project timelines and proactively identify and resolve site issues.
- Ensure all site documentation is maintained accurately.
- Manage engineer attendance records and approve timesheets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, RAMS and company procedures.
- Coordinate materials, equipment and labour resources across projects.
- Support project delivery from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Proven experience managing Structured Cabling projects.
- Strong knowledge of both copper and fibre cabling installations.
- Previous experience supervising site-based engineering teams.
- Experience dealing directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and project priorities.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements on construction sites.
- Experience reviewing site progress, engineer performance and project deliverables.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
