Early Years Manager

Our client, a well-established early years setting, is seeking an experienced and committed Early Years Manager to lead the nursery’s day-to-day operations and ensure outstanding standards of care and education.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about early childhood development, team management, and creating a positive, high-quality learning environment.

The Role

• Lead and manage the nursery in line with EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements
• Support, motivate and develop the staff team through effective leadership
• Maintain high standards of practice, care and compliance across the setting
• Oversee staffing, ratios, rotas and performance management
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers and external professionals
• Prepare for and manage inspections, audits and quality assurance processes
• Contribute to occupancy, budgets and the smooth running of the nursery

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
• Proven experience in an Early Years Manager, Deputy Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
• Confident people manager with excellent communication skills
• Organised, professional and solutions-focused
• Passionate about delivering high-quality early education
