ODIN Recruitment are currently looking to speak with Experienced Infrastructure project managers, for a senior project manager role. Our client installs and manages single, landlord controlled, neutral and inclusive fibre networks on varying assets ranging from commercial office space to estate wide infrastructure. Giving Occupiers unlimited access to the ISP marketplace without the need for wayleaves and delivering optional connectivity on plug and play basis.
The experienced Project Manager Lead will manage key client projects and junior project managers.
Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarise progress of the project/s. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of each project.
The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with external contractors and sub-contractors to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery for the key client.
Project Management and Project Governance
Produce and lead the implementation and delivery of key project/s.
Produce project documentation and maintain by monitoring project or work stream activities
Manages the project teams or work streams on a day-to-day basis to ensure specific project deliverables are completed as agreed
Identify, assess, and manage project or work stream risks including contingency planning
Identify skill requirements throughout the lifecycle to support and deliver the project
Administers, facilitates, and manages appropriate project processes and documentation – including project change management, project planning and scheduling, risk/issue management, communication, etc
Identify opportunities for process improvement, and work with the team in implementing changes to process and technology.
Be present and in close communication / collaboration with other senior management to ensure complete understanding of larger opportunities from a competitive cost and capability point of view.
Correspond both verbally and via written format with a high degree of professionalism with Clients, end tenant users, technical partners, contractors, and the internal team.
Leadership
Lead, guide and mentor project teams and work streams to provide clear direction to said colleagues to understand their role, responsibilities and accountabilities within the project and their value to achieving our business strategic goals
Management and leadership of clients and third-party providers to ensure overall project risks are managed to ensure the project delivers as defined and planned. Able to consider business wide impact.
Create an environment where colleagues involved in the projects are encouraged to suggest continuous improvements and increase productivity
Man Management responsibilities:
Direct responsibility Junior Project Managers or Project Support
Mentor and develop the team
Undertake Performance Management Reviews and one to ones with direct reports

Desired Qualities:
3-5 years’ Experience within project management
Strong technical competency
Previous remote working experience
Prince 2 or APM qualifications
