Electrical Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Working within the busy Engineering department you will be supporting all areas of Production, packing and site facilities. You will be assisting the Engineering Manager with the efficient and effective execution of the maintenance and engineering activities as well as actively participating in all manner of project and continuous improvement tasks.

Key Tasks:

• Preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Maintenance and fault find of production and packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of PLC’s and inverter driven equipment
• Identification and implementation of improvements.
• Site equipment and facility maintenance.
• Electrical and Mechanical installation works.
• Provide engineering expertise to on-going projects.

In order to be considered for either position you will need the following skills & experience:

• You must have completed a formal electrical engineering apprenticeship from within an industrial/ manufacturing/ process background.
• Basic fault finding skills on PLC’s is essential. 
• You must come from a manufacturing environment and have a passion for minimising plant downtime using strong fault finding/ Root cause skills. 
• You must have experience in planned maintenance strategies (PPM) and have a strong focus towards continuous improvement.
• Ideally you will have 17^th/ 18^th edition although training is offered.
